The purpose of the Work and Development Order (WDO) scheme is to provide a meaningful, appropriate and effective response to offending by vulnerable groups, as an alternative to a monetary penalty. We are committed to continually improving the WDO scheme and the service provided by agencies involved. Your feedback is important to help us identify areas we need to improve as well as those which relate to the objectives of the scheme.

What is a complaint?

A complaint is a type of feedback indicating concerns or dissatisfaction with any aspect of the WDO Scheme.

Before you make a complaint

We encourage you to first talk to the person or agency to try to resolve the issue. All WDO sponsors have complaint handling procedures in place. If the issue cannot be resolved, or if you think it is inappropriate or unsafe for you to contact the person or agency, you can lodge a complaint using this form.

What will happen with my complaint?

Complaints will be received and initially responded to by Revenue NSW. We will endeavour to resolve complaints within 30 days. This may involve the complaint being referred to the relevant Government agency, WDO sponsor or other third party. You will be notified of the outcome in writing.
